3D Printed Parts designed to fit the 1/18 Minichamps 1993 & 1994 Penske diecasts replace the fuel filler decal with a 3-dimensional fuel filler. Comes with vinyl mask for alignment on the car and black decal for center of fuel filler. Note that this is intended for a full-repaint of the Penske diecast, and could chip original factory paint.

 

Instructions:

  1. Align vinyl mask against bottom horizontal cockpit/sidepod edge and vertical rear cowl seam. Wearing appropriate safety equipment, drill a pilot hole with a 5/64" drill bit, then enlarge with a 7/32 bit and finally drill out with an 11/32" bit for installation of fuel filler.
  2. Paint fuel filler with appropriate paint. Recommended color: Tamiya TS-17 Gloss Aluminum
  3. Apply center black decal
  4. Detail screw holes around perimeter with small paintbrush or toothpick
  5. Install after converting the rest of the car.
